Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Draft — this document is pending legal review and may change before Loqva's official launch.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Loqva (the "Service"), a public community discussion platform operated by LogCore Technology LLC("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Content & Moderation Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Loqva

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian. You may not use the Service if you have been permanently banned from it, except as allowed by our Content & Moderation Policy.

2. Your account

  • Provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address current.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your password secure and tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.
  • One person may have more than one account, but not to evade a ban, to manipulate votes, or to impersonate someone.
  • You can close your account at any time from your account settings.

3. Public content

Loqva is a public forum. Posts, comments, your username, and your profile are visible to anyone on the internet — including people without an account and search engines — and may be indexed, cached, and quoted elsewhere — including by AI systems, which may read public content to answer questions or for training. Edit history is public too, so earlier versions of what you edit stay viewable. Don't post anything you want to keep private. Private messages are visible only to you and the recipient, but they are not end-to-end encrypted (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Your content and the license you give us

You keep ownership of what you post. Public posts and comments you publish on the Service are licensed to everyone under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0): anyone may share and adapt them, as long as they credit the author, link to the license, and share their adaptations under the same license. You also give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as part of operating, providing, and promoting the Service. These licenses continue for content that stays on the Service after you close your account (see section 8). Private messages are not licensed to anyone. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you post, including the right to license it under CC BY-SA.

5. Rules

You agree to follow our Content & Moderation Policy. In short, you may not:

  • post sexual, pornographic, or other adult (NSFW) content of any kind;
  • harass, threaten, or target other people, or encourage others to do so;
  • post spam, scams, or undisclosed advertising — if you're paid, sponsored, or otherwise connected to what you post about, say so with “I'm affiliated”;
  • misstate whether AI was used to create a post, run automated accounts without them being labeled as bots, or claim credentials or experiences you don't have to persuade people;
  • manipulate votes — including with multiple accounts — or evade a ban;
  • post anything illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • interfere with the Service — for example by scraping it in a way that degrades it, probing it for vulnerabilities without permission, or circumventing its security or rate limits.

6. Moderation

We and the moderators of individual communities may remove content, lock threads, and restrict or ban accounts that break these Terms or the Content & Moderation Policy. Account bans are applied by site-wide staff and may be temporary or permanent, as described in that policy. We may also take action to protect the Service, its users, or the public even where a specific rule isn't named. We are not obligated to monitor content and are not responsible for content posted by users.

7. Communities run by others

Some communities on Loqva are run by their own moderators or by a verified owner. They may set additional rules for their community, as long as those rules don't conflict with these Terms. Those moderators and owners are not our employees or agents.

8. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. When you do, you're signed out, your profile is removed, and your posts and comments stay on the Service with your name removed, so existing discussions still make sense (the license in section 4 continues). You can download a copy of your data first, and you can ask us to remove your posts and comments and erase your data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 4 and 9–12 survive the end of your account.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Content on Loqva is posted by users and is not advice from us; rely on it at your own risk. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be preserved.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogCore Technology LLC and its members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or US $50.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless LogCore Technology LLC from any claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from content you post or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll give notice on the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
