Become a reviewer
Reviewers check Loqva's guides and answers in fields they know: is it correct, and is it still current? Readers see when something has been checked, and authors get specific fixes.
How it works
- Review as much as you like. Items in your fields come first; you can skip anything.
- Several reviewers check every item without seeing each other's verdicts. A result counts once 3 agree (70% or more); close calls go to staff.
- Say why when something's wrong, and in a line what you checked when it's right. Authors see the reasons, never who wrote them.
- You're scored on how often your verdicts hold up, including on test items with a known answer, and ranked once you have enough decided reviews.
- Your reviews count toward what readers see once you've verified your ID (coming soon). Until then they're scored and ranked like everyone's.
Guidelines
- Check against something real: the manual, the code, the law, your own experience doing it.
- Judge whether it's correct, not whether you'd have written it the same way.
- Never review your own posts or a friend's, or coordinate verdicts.
- Be specific and kind in your reasons; the author will read them.
Rewards for top reviewers may come later, based on ranking. Nothing is promised.
