Loqva

Clipping rules and guide

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Draft — this document is pending legal review and may change before Loqva's official launch.

Everything public on Loqva is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, so you can share posts and answers anywhere: as a link, a quote, a share card or a short video. These rules keep that fair to the people who wrote them. They're part of our Terms and Content Policy.

The rules

Allowed

  • Sharing any eligible public post or reply with credit, using the share card or a faithful quote.
  • Adding your own opinion, commentary, reaction or voiceover.
  • Strong opinions about ideas, products, platforms and practices.

Not allowed

  • Mocking, targeting or encouraging harassment of the author or anyone in the thread. Argue with the idea, never the person.
  • Editing a quote so it says something the author didn't say.
  • False claims about Loqva: features, earnings, or that Loqva endorses something.
  • Presenting yourself as Loqva or Loqva staff.
  • Hate, harassment or anything else that breaks our Content Policy, on any platform, in content carrying a Loqva link.
  • Clipping content that can't be made into a share card (for example from screenshots): posts by members under 18, members-only posts, posts in adults-only communities, and removed or reported content.
  • Fake engagement, bots, buying signups, or referring yourself.

Required

  • Credit the author, as the license requires. Share cards and video kits do this for you: keep the name, the link and the license line visible.
  • Say when you're paid. Loqva doesn't pay for shares yet. When it does, anyone earning from their link must say so clearly at the start of each post (for example “#ad” or “I earn if you join”), and these terms will be reviewed before payouts start.

If something goes wrong

Report a clip that breaks these rules from the author's post or profile, or through the contact form. Authors can always report clips of their own posts. A first offence usually means a warning; targeting or harassing an author, or repeat offences, mean losing referral credit and rewards, and possibly the account. Authors can also keep their posts out of share cards in Settings → Sharing.

Clipper guide

Your link

Signed in, every Share button gives you a link that credits you. In Make a share card, choose where you're posting (TikTok, YouTube, Reddit…) and the link remembers it, so Your stats show which platform works. The first link someone opens is the one that counts, for 30 days.

Formats that work

  • Story videos: download the video kit (slides, a script and a caption) and put it together in CapCut or any editor.
  • Answer cards: one great accepted answer, as a square card.
  • “Verified current” guides: what changed since the old advice, with the checked guide as the source.
  • “The most useful reply on [topic] this week.”

Add your own take

Platforms show reposted content to fewer people and don't pay for low-effort compilations. Your own commentary, reaction or voiceover gets more reach, and it makes clear the opinion is yours. Quality beats volume: ten near-identical videos a day reads as spam.

How rewards work

  • Referrals count from today. Everyone your links bring stays linked to you.
  • Only members who stay and take part count, never raw signups. They unlock milestones (Supporter time, badges) and the monthly leaderboard.
  • Money comes later, and only for approved creators: a share of paid purchases by the members you bring. There are no payouts or balances yet.
